Micro Bully Registration — Get Official Papers for Your Micro Bully

• General Appearance: A designer breed between the Staffordshire Terrier, English Bulldog, and the American Pitbull Terrier to produce the Miniature Exotic Bully, also known as Micro Bully, Pocket Bully or American Bully. Miniature Exotic Bullies, Micro Bully, or Designer Bullies are playful and friendly dogs that love to play with their owner.

• Substance: Miniature Bullies, Exotic Bullies, or Designer Bullies are medium sized dogs, and can range from 14 to 17 inches in males, and 13 to 16 in females. Males weight around 11 to 22 pounds, while females weigh around 10 to 20 pounds. Weights and heights above these disqualify the breed from the "Miniature" status. The average lifespan of this breed is 10 to 13 years.

• Head: The head of the Micro Bully or Exotic Bully is very unique and powerful in its physical appearance. Its size is medium in size compared to its Extreme Exotic counterpart and that of the Miniature Exotic. Jaw - Well defined and chiseled and complimentary to the overall head structure. Muzzle - Length and structure are based on the dogs overall head size but should not be confused with that of the standard American Bully. Overall length should not exceed ¼ of the dogs total head length (muzzle-occiput). The point at where the muzzle and stop meet should not exceed a 90 ̊ - 100 ̊ angle, giving the side view of the stop almost a vertical up and down appearance. The point at which the top skull and stop meet should be an abrupt drop and not taper or fade into the muzzle. Ears- Cropped or natural is accepted, but cropped is preferred.

• Body: Muscled and very distinct but separable from the American Bully. General appearance should be compact and bulky in its look. Movement should be effortless and smooth in its natural stance or gate.

• Forequarters: Strong and muscular with wide shoulders. Being that the Exotic naturally carry’s more mass, the feet should be straight. Feet that are turned in or out, is accepted but not recommended breeding towards. Bowed fronts are accepted but not recommended.

• Coat: It has a glossy coat, which is easy to maintain. Its coat is short, smooth, and thick

• Color: They can be of a solid color or have markings of a second color. They can have blue ticking as well. The most commonly available colors are Red, Blue, Fawn, Black, Black & Tan, Blue & Tan, Brown, Buckskin, White & Seal, and many more.

• Temperament: Despite their aggressive and sometimes intimidating appearance, Miniature Bullies or Micro Bullies are friendly dogs, and are known for their playfulness and loyalty to their owners.

The Micro Bully — also known as the Miniature Exotic Bully, Pocket Bully, and American Bully Micro — was created by legendary breeder Don Chino in 2001, making it one of the earliest designer bully breeds developed in the United States. Building on his work with American Bully and Exotic Bully bloodlines, Don Chino refined the compact, muscular Micro Bully to produce a dog with the powerful physical presence of the Exotic Bully at a significantly reduced size — typically 13–17 inches and 10–22 pounds. Known for their friendly, loyal temperament despite their imposing appearance, Micro Bullies became one of the most sought-after bully breed varieties in the United States and internationally. Puppies from elite bloodlines regularly sell for $5,000–$30,000 depending on conformation, color, and lineage.

The American Bully Registry (ABR) and American Bully Kennel Club (ABKC) are the primary registries used in the Micro Bully community. However, not all Micro Bully owners and breeders have ABR or ABKC papers, and some Micro Bullies fall outside the strict size or conformation requirements for those registries. Designer Kennel Club (DKC) provides an alternative registration pathway for all Micro Bully owners regardless of whether existing ABR, ABKC, or any other bully registry documentation exists. DKC Foundation Dog Registration ($65) accepts any Micro Bully without prior papers and creates an official record of breed and ownership.

Designer Kennel Club provides official registration papers and ownership documentation for Micro Bullies, Miniature Exotic Bullies, and Pocket Bullies with no ABR, ABKC, or AKC papers required. DKC Foundation Dog Registration ($65) is for any Micro Bully without existing DKC documentation. For breeders, DKC Litter Registration ($100) gives each puppy in the litter an individual registration number that new owners can use to register their Micro Bully puppy for $45.
